PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat exchange which can be assembled in a simple and inexpensive method and does not need relatively slight space. SOLUTION: A first heat exchanger (10) is coupled with second heat exchangers (28 and 42), and coupling members (5 and 39) extend to a collecting container (37) adjacent to the second heat exchangers (28 and 42) from the collecting container (23) of the first heat exchanger (10). This heat exchanger has many flat pipes (11) rectangular or elliptic in cross section which are equipped with longitudinal sides (14) extending in longitudinal direction from the first collecting container (12) to the second collecting container (13) and narrow-width sides (15), and fins (corrugated fins 21) in contact with the pipes (11). The end of each of the pipes (11) is widened to form a long coupling face (18) for at least one side of the pipe end (16) to contact and couple with an adjacent pipe end (16), in a direction vertical to the longitudinal side (14). The second side of at least one of the pipe ends 16 forms a short coupling face (22) for contacting and coupling with collecting containers (12, 13, 23, and 29).
