PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide facsimile equipment capable of recording data on suitable recording paper corresponding to the equipment, which instructs printing. SOLUTION: In the case of a print job from a personal computer 4, an attribute ('PC', for example), showing the print job is applied and that print job is written in the queue of the facsimile equipment 1. In the case of Internet FAX receiving through a mail server 3, on the other hand, an attribute ('I-FAX', for example), showing a print job with Internet FAX receiving is applied to the print job and that print job is written in the queue of the facsimile equipment 1. When there is no prescribed recording paper and the attribute is 'PC', it is reported to the personal computer 4. When there is no prescribed recording paper and the attribute is 'I-FAX', the data are recorded on the other recording paper.
