PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a multiplex image transmitter that can imbed much telemetry to one scanning line without causing an error due to a noise or the like. SOLUTION: Telemetry information converted into serial data via an encoder 3, a serial/parallel conversion circuit 4, a memory 5, and a parallel/serial conversion circuit 6 is converted into parallel data by a plurality of bits each at a shift register 7 and a latch 8. A digital/analog converter 9 converts the parallel data to a plurality of stages of luminance level signals, and a video changeover 10 imbeds the luminance level signal of a plurality of stages to a scanning line of an image signal and provides an output of the result. Since much telemetry information can be imbedded to one scanning line without superimposing a plurality of luminance level signals, much telemetry information can be imbedded to one scanning line without causing an error due to a noise or the like.
