PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To sharply pick up an image with high contrast. SOLUTION: A light (video image of an object) is made incident onto a half mirror 42 via a lens 41, 90% of the light passes through the half mirror 42 and is made incident onto a CCD image sensor 43 via an aperture 46, where the light is converted into an electric signal. Furthermore, 10% of the light made incident onto the half mirror 42 is reflected and totally reflected in a mirror 44, made incident onto a CCD image sensor 45, where the light is converted into an electric signal. Pixels sharply picked up are selected from bright image data supplied from the CCD image sensor 43 and dark image data supplied from the CCD image sensor 45 and a sharp image with high contras can be obtained by synthesizing the pixels. |
