摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an intended performance (performance approximate to a design value) in an acceleration sensor. SOLUTION: This acceleration sensor A has a rotor 30 which is rotatably supported in a housing 10 and operates to rotate against an urging force of a torsion spring 51 corresponding to an acceleration and a pair of contact terminals 42 and 43 which are brought in contact with each other by the rotation of the rotor 30 at inner end parts set inside the housing 10 to be turned conductive. A supporting part 30b for the torsion spring 51 is integrally formed with the rotor 30. The supporting part 30b is shifted by a predetermined amount in a predetermined direction from the center of the rotation of the rotor 30 to make the center of action of the spring 51 when a torque is inputted to the torsion spring by the rotation of the rotor 30 nearly agree with the center of the rotation of the rotor 30.
