PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the functions about position information to improve the serviceability and reduce the communication expenses therefor. SOLUTION: A human navigation terminal 1 is composed of a control circuit 2 of a main member, position detector 3, radio communication unit 4, display 5, memory 6, etc. The control circuit 2 receives GPS signals by the position detector 3 to detect the present position, transmits present position information to a communication partner when it is connected to this partner via a packet communication network, receives the present position of the communication partner, and displays the present positions of both and the direct distance between them on the display, based on map data. The control circuit 2 retrieves an optimum encounter route, if both encounter, and calculates and indicates the required time therefor. It further exchanges the present position information at regular intervals and displays them with traces to indicate the activity ranges of both. |
