摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To confine torque added to a shaft when load is added to a flap plate from above erected upward at a slant smaller than 90 deg. from a recumbent position in a vehicle confining device of an unattended parking area. SOLUTION: The basic end of a lever 10 mounting a roller 12 as a cam follower to the front end thereof is mounted to the shaft 3 having the basic end of the flap plate 5. A cam 25 having a cam face gradually rising in the retracted direction of a cylinder rod 21 is mounted to the front end of the cylinder rod 21 forward and backward driven along the direction at right angles to the shaft 3 by the air cylinder 20 so as to make the roller 12 follow upward, and a cam face area of the cam face occupied by the roller 12 at an erecting position is so formed in a slope or a horizontal plane that the component of force added to the cam 25 in the retracted direction makes the cylinder rod 21 smaller to an extent incapable of being substantially retracted when a vehicle runs on to the flap plate 5.
