PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a navigator which realizes an adequate route guidance by surely transferring information about the direction under guidance to the driver in a simple constitution. SOLUTION: Two speakers RS, LS are provided on the right and left sides of a driver's seat. If a direction information 'right direction' exists on a route guidance, the volume of the right speaker RS is increased and that of the left speaker LS is decreased to move an sound image from a point Y to a point Z during outputting of a guidance voice and a direction indicating voice. If a direction information 'left direction' exists on the route guidance, the volume of the right speaker RS is decreased and that of the left speaker LS is increased to move the sound image from the point Y to a point X during outputting. |
