PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To aim at a reduction of assembly man-hour, cost reduction and downsizing in a connector for a memory card which possesses a heart cam lock mechanism. SOLUTION: This connector is equipped with a housing 50, a frame 52, a slider 51, a coil sprig 92 and a lock pin 53, and the slider 51 is driven to the front side (right side in the figure) by a coil spring 92, and a base end part 53b of a lock pin 53 is swingably supported in a support groove 66 of the housing 50, and engaged and locked in an engaging groove 75 of the slider 51, to prevent falling off, and by being abutted on and supported by a side plate 83 of the frame 52, the tip end part 53 is abutted on an inner bottom surface of heart-shaped grooved cam 77 that has been concavely installed at the slider 51. On this account, a leaf spring piece to drive the tip end part 53a of the lock pin 53 to the heart-shaped grooved cam 77 side becomes unnecessary, and the number of parts can be reduced. |
