PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an organic EL display which is favorable for downsizing and a manufacturing method in which a long term reliability has been secured by preventing a peeling based on the folding of flexible printed circuit board at a connecting part between the flexible printed circuit board for organic EL element driving lead electrode and the organic EL display for an external driving circuit connection. SOLUTION: The connecting part between a lead electrode for driving an organic EL element on a glass substrate by an anisotropic conductive film and a flexible printed circuit board is made to have a structure to sandwich by the glass substrate and a sealing plate.
