PURPOSE: A two-dimensional photo scanning device is provided to form two-dimensional beam by using two scanning portions. CONSTITUTION: A light source(11) is formed by a laser or a laser diode in order to emit a modulated light of a red color, a green color, and a blue color corresponding to a displayed image. The first scanning portion(12) has the first rotary multi-face mirror(13), the first motor(14), and the first motor controller(15). The first motor(14) drives the first rotary multi-face mirror(13). The first motor controller(15) controls the first motor(14). A vertical scanning line is formed by the light reflected from the first rotary multi-face mirror(13). The second scanning portion(16) has the second rotary multi-face mirror(17), the second motor(18), and the second motor controller(19). A vertical scanning line is formed by the light reflected from the second rotary multi-face mirror(17). The second motor(18) drives the second rotary multi-face mirror(17). The second motor controller(19) controls the second motor(18).
