<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an operation mode setting system which improve the efficiency of operation for setting an operation mode when a computer system has its settings changed or is inspected, reduces missetting, breakage, etc., makes it easy to set the operation mode, and enables the operation mode to be set without information characteristic of a device. SOLUTION: This is an operation mode setting system which sets the operation mode of a computer system equipped with a serial interface 4 and has a connector 10 for operation setting, which is connected to the serial interface 4 and wired internally corresponding to the operation mode and an operation mode executing means which detects the internal wiring state of the connector 10 and executes the operation mode according to the internal wiring state. The connector 10 for operation setting is wired internally in a loop-back state so as to connect terminals of the serial interface 4 with each other.</p> |
