PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device having a voice input function that employs a two-dimensional image sensor for voice detection while suppressing increase in the area. SOLUTION: The device of this invention is provided with a two-dimensional image sensor 1, a means 4 that shades a light for a 1st row 11 at the end of the image sensor 1 so as to change a shade area in response to voice, a means 2 that calculates a luminous quantity ratio of an output of a 2nd row 12 adjacent to the 1st row 11 and not shaded to that of the output 11 of the 1st row, and a means 3 that averages an output signal by one row of the calculation means 2 over one row.
