PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily gather video data, to accurately indicate and reproduce the video data, and to accurately grasp the position relation to the reproduced video on a map. SOLUTION: On the side of the video gathering device 10, a video recording medium 101 and a position time recording medium 102 are generated. On the side of a video retrieval device 20, a correspondence part 24 generates a video database in which video data read in from the video recording medium 101 and position time data read out by a data read part 21 are made to correspond to each other on a time basis. A photography trace display processing part 32 retrieves video data having a photography position on a map in a map display part 28 and displays the photography position as a track. When a position on the map is indicated by an input-on-map part 29 by referring to the trace, video data nearby the position are reproduced by a video display processing part 33.
