PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a ventilation structure capable of effectively implementing ventilation in a parapet section with a simple structure and preventing rain water from intruding the parapet section. SOLUTION: A ventilation layer 4 is provided between the parapet panel 2 of the parapet section 1 and an outer wall 3, and a chimney member 8 having a ventilation hole 9 is inserted into an exhaust hole bored at the prescribed position of a waterproof layer 5 provided at the upper section of the parapet section 1. The lower section of the chimney member 8 is inserted into the upper section of the ventilation layer 4, and the ventilation layer 4 connected to communicate with the ventilation hole 9.
