LAMINAR FLOW NOZZLE FOR ELECTRIC TINNED STEEL PLATE, AND COOLING APPARATUS AND COOLING METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus and a method for cooling a tinned steel plate after the reflow treatment in a continuous electric tin-plating line. SOLUTION: A pair of laminar flow nozzles are disposed on the inlet side of the tinned steel plate before the steel plate enters a cooling water in a quenching tank so that the cooling water of the laminar flow is allowed to flow along the steel plate in the carrying direction over the entire width of face and rear sides of the steel plate, and the steel plate is cooled thereby. In addition to the cooling by the laminar flow, at least a pair of spray nozzles are disposed within the cooling water in the quenching tank, and the steel plate may be cooled thereby while spraying the cooling water by the spray nozzles. Generation of quench stain can be prevented thereby.
