POLYESTER PARTIALLY DRAWN YARN AND MANUFACTURING METHOD THEREOF

PURPOSE: Polyester partially drawn yarn and a manufacturing method thereof are provided which are characterized by having excellent spinning property at over 4,000mpm of spinning velocity, not arising noils on a twisting process, having excellent heat resistance and improving falling-up in inherent viscosity. CONSTITUTION: The polyester partially drawn yarn is obtained by a process containing the steps of: polymerizing ethylene glycol and terephthalic acid or terephthalic acid ester forming derivatives, and adding 1-10micro equivalent(MEQ) of tris hydroxy ethyl isocyanurate(THEIC) per 1g of polymer as chain branching agent simultaneously to produce modified polyester; and then spinning 3,500-5,000mpm of spinning velocity.
