PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a digital copying machine that informs a 3rd party about occurrence of a falsification act when a paper money is going to be printed and delaying printing by an operator so as to earn a time for arresting the operator. SOLUTION: When a scanner 30 reads a paper money as an original, a paper money recognition control circuit 122 informs a CPU 110 of a printer control section 11 that the image data are image data of the paper money. The CPU 110 informs the 3rd party that the falsification act is made through a communication interface 115, increments a count to set a time until start of start processing after re-application of power, displays a system error message on an LCD 21 and stops the entire processing. The operator (counterfeiter) who reapplies power to continue copying has to wait during starting for a long time without knowing the extended start time. The 3rd party receiving the notice can reach the operator for that time. |
