The corner protector for a building wall has a U-shaped upper section with two side walls (1a,b) connected by a cross piece (1c) at the top. The cross piece has two flanges forming retaining hook for the protector. The lower edges of the sidewalls are extended by flanges (1d,e) which are at an angle matching the corner of the wall. The extensions can be connected to the sidewalls by deformable section (1f) which allow adjustment of the angle.
