PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a repeater having a delay compensation function for a delay in an outgoing signal whose installed place is apart from a base station installed at a head end by 10 km or over in a communication system adopting the TDMA/TDD system conducting a PHS service through the use of a cable television network. SOLUTION: A frequency of a local oscillator 17 of a transmitter-receiver is kept constant and equal to a frequency of a signal received from a PHS terminal in the case of receiving a signal from the cable television network and the PHS terminal, and a difference between the frequency of the PHS signal from the cable network and the frequency of the PHS signal from a wireless block is added to the frequency of the local oscillator 17 to set the frequency of the local oscillator 14 so that the repeater can continuously receive the PHS signal from the cable television network and the PHS signal from the wireless block. |
