摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a crack-free negative electrification type electrophotographic photoreceptor having high electrification capability. SOLUTION: The negative electrification type electrophotographic photoreceptor 1 is obtained by successively stacking an electric charge injection blocking layer 3, a photosensitive layer 4 and a surface protecting layer 5 on an electrically conductive substrate 2. When the intensity at 2,000 cm-1 wave number and intensity at 2,100 cm-1 wave number in an IR absorption spectrum are represented by Ia and Ib, respectively, a layer region which satisfies the expression of relation 0.22<Ib/(Ia+Ib)<0.35 is formed in the photosensitive layer 4, wherein the value Ib/(Ia+Ib) decreases from the layer region toward the free surface side in the thickness direction.
