PURPOSE: Provided is a method of making a fishing rod with wood grain design by coating with brown color consisting of various dyes, dipping the coated pole into dipping vessel and revolving the rod. CONSTITUTION: The method comprises: undercoating the rod material with white paint made of urethane and epoxy paint; first, a coating step of the above rod material with a paint of certain color made of the mixtures of various dyes such as black, red, yellow and green and thinner solvent such as CH3COCH3, CH3COOC2H5, CH3COCH2CH(CH3)2, and CH3COOC4H9; making various design by dipping the above rod material into a dipping vessel with working water which swirls around and by dipping again into the dipping vessel where air bubble is generated and the bubbles or their wave contact with the rod material to make various design when the dyes solidify, and top coating the above rod with white transparent paint made by using urethane and epoxy paint to preserve the color design.
