PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a terrestrial globe which is capable of distinctly displaying the diurnal changes of day and night, the seasonal changes of the duration of the day and night by the latitude on the earth and the differences in the time by the longitude on the earth. SOLUTION: A core shaft 3 is relatively rotatably inserted and fitted into a cylindrical shaft 2 pivotally fitted to a pedestal 1. A map display sphere 4 indicating a world map with the cylindrical shaft 2 as the earth's axis and a place name display frame 5 displaying the place names corresponding to longitude positions on the peripheral surface are integrally rotatably mounted at the cylindrical shaft 2. A day and night block cover 6 having a night area display section 60 covering approximately the half spherical portion is held at the core shaft 3 displaceably within a specified range in the longitude line direction. A time display frame 7 displaying the time on the earth is integrally rotatably mounted at the core shaft 3 along the longitude direction.
