PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and device for detecting an oscillating angle by which capacitance variation can be detected easily and the oscillating angle of a galvanometer mirror can also be detected easily with high accuracy and an optical disk device. SOLUTION: The device for detecting oscillating angle is provided with a mobile section equipped with a reflecting mirror, a supporting section which supports the mobile section in an oscillation possible state on a fixed section, and a driving section 18 which oscillates the mobile section by generating an electrostatic attracting force between the mobile section and a fixed section. The device is also provided with a signal impressing section 28 which impresses a signal for detection having a higher frequency than the driving signal which oscillates the mobile section has and amplitude detecting sections 22 and 24 which detect the amplitude of the output signal corresponding to a capacitance which changes following the oscillation of the mobile section.
