PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a belt tension regulating device which has high general purpose properties and facilitates work. SOLUTION: A device body 11 is provided with a pair of belt supporting parts 14 to allow movement in a longitudinal direction of a belt 4 and be situated with a given distance therebetween, a hook 17 positioned between a pair of the belt supporting parts 14 in a direction in which a tension is exerted on the belt 4 from the inner peripheral side of the belt 4, and a pointer 31 and a graduation part 33 to indicate a change of a movement amount of the hook 17 from the device body 11. The belt 4 is supported at a pair of the belt support parts 14 and the device body is constituted that it is capable of being suspended from the belt 4 with a tension exerted by the hook 17.
