PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve development processing of color reversal photographic elements. SOLUTION: This method for processing the exposed color reversal photographic films successively includes a) a process of developing the exposed color reversal photographic films in a black and white developing bath; 2) a process of washing the films in a first washing bath; 3) a process of chemically fogging the films in a reversal bath containing tin (II) salt; 4) a process of color developing the films. The method described above includes a process of maintaining the volume of the water in the first washing bath described above by the counter current from the reversal bath, discharging the water of the volume at least equivalent to the volume supplied from the counter current at this time as overflow, further, gathering the water from the overflow and the water from the first washing bath and circulating the water across a nano filtration device, thereby providing the photographically reusable permeate.
