PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a card payment system capable of reducing a risk that a card is lost or stolen. SOLUTION: A card issuing company issues a card with which a fixed upper limit amount is available, such as a five thousand-yen card, a ten thousand-yen card, a fifty thousand-yen card, a one hundred thousand-yen card and a five hundred thousand- yen card with cash advance payment and in which the information of a sued amount and balance are stored in magnetism and an integrated circuit. A terminal machine opens a hole on the direct use among display part of the card in accordance with a used amount. The card issuing company sells the card at respective stores such as a convenience store, a department store, a hotel and a restaurant and a financial institution such as a bank, and a user purchases the card and can subsequently purchase merchandise and pays a service charge. Also, the user does not have to input a password in the case of making a payment.
