PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To ensure exact tracking in switching from pits to guide grooves and from the guide grooves to the pits. SOLUTION: The recording disk has the guide grooves 101 for recording information, reproduction-only bit strings 103 previously recorded with the recording information, first land prepits 104 formed with the address information adjacently to the bit strings 103 and second land prepits 102 formed with the address information in contact with the guide grooves 101. The base surfaces of the guide grooves 101, the bit strings 103, the first land prepits 104 and the second land prepits 102 exist on the different plane. The track pitch of the segments where the guide groove switch from the guide grooves to the bit strings and/or switchs from the bit strings to the guide grooved is offset in the width of 1.5 track pitch from 0.2. |
