PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information distribution system, where a broadcast station being a provider can distribute guide information on a program associated with a program whose rebroadcast is requested at the time of returning a response to a rebroadcast request from a viewer. SOLUTION: The program provider 1 is provided with a mechanism 13 distributing program guide information on a broadcast schedule program, by using a broadcast wave, mechanisms 14 and 15 taking in the rebroadcast request from the viewer on the broadcast program selected from the distributed broadcast schedule programs from a public network or the Internet network and investigating the possibility of rebroadcast and mechanisms 12, 14 and 16 distributing program guide information on the broadcast schedule program, which is associated deeply with the requested program to the viewer by using the public network or the Internet network with a processing result by investigation performed on the rebroadcast request. |
