WATER-DISINTEGRABLE FIBER SHEET HAVING MULTILAYERED STRUCTURE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve problems that the balance between water disintegrability and strength is not maintained in a cleaning sheet made of a water-disintegrable fiber sheet and flushed and disposed of in a conventional toilet, etc. SOLUTION: This water-disintegrable fiber sheet has the multilayered structure. The surface layer comprises fibrillated rayons composed of a body part having a prescribed fiber length and microfibers extending from the body part and having <=700 cc beating degree in an amount of >=3 mass % in fibers constituting the surface layer. The microfibers extending from the fibrillated rayons are interlaced and/or hydrogen bonded with at least either of the microfibers and other fibers. The balance between the water disintegrability and the strength of the fiber sheet becomes excellent simply by adding a small amount of the fibrillated rayons.
