<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a producing method for molten metallic iron by which molten metallic iron is produced by heating a forming raw material composed of carbonaceous reduction material and iron oxide-containing material, at high temperature in a rotary hearth furnace to perform the reduction and the melting of the material then, separating slag component, and the molten metallic iron is discharged to the outside of the rotary hearth furnace as the molten-state without cooling and solidifying. SOLUTION: This rotary hearth furnace has an inclining surface (6) having 3-30 deg. angle downward to the horizontal plane in the furnace hearth (1), and in the discharging position (4) of the molten metallic iron (13), the molten metallic iron (13) is discharged from the lowest portion in the inclining surface (6).</p> |
