<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effectively assign a shipment command to a transportation means while taking into account many items of the transportation load of the article, the transportation capacity of the transportation means, etc. SOLUTION: According to the shipment schedule, shipment source, shipment destination, transportation load, proximity degree of the shipment destination, the transportation capacity and operation schedule of respective transportation means as shipment command data for shipping articles, pieces of shipment command data are assigned to the respective transportation means. At this time, the proximity degree of the shipment destination is calculated by using the code corresponding to the geographic position, the number of shipment destinations assigned to one transportation means is made constant, and a threshold is set for the transportation capacity of the transportation means to assign the shipment command data to the respective transportation means in two stages. Consequently, the pieces of shipment command data can be assigned to the transportation means so that the transportation efficiency will be high. Further, the articles are transported according to the above assignment to make lower the transportation cost since the transportation capacity of the transportation means in transportation can effectively be used.</p> |
