PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a camera system that can efficiently move the position of a camera. SOLUTION: In the camera system provided with rails 2, a wagon 3 running on the rails and a camera 4 mounted on the wagon, the wagon is provided with wheels 310, motors 320 that respectively drive the wheels and a camera support 330, a suspension device 311 of the wheels is provided with a first damping means and the support is provided with a second damping means. The wagon is provided with a pressurized brake. The rails have curves with varying slopes. Moreover, a power supply device for supplying power to the motors is provided with a trolley wire 510 provided to the rails and a current collector 520 provided to the wagon, and an arm 521 of the current collector has elasticity to depress the trolley wire. Furthermore, the rails are arranged with a magnetic marker 610 and the wagon is provided with a sensor 620 for reading the magnetic marker.
