PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and a system which can specify or predict a place which should be maintained in its early stage before casting facilities stop. SOLUTION: A cycle time as the one-cycle time of the whole casting facilities and stage operation times of specific devices which affect the cycle time are measured and stored for a long period at short time intervals and on the basis of the cumulative value of times for which the operation times exceed a prescribed time in a specified time or the cumulative times of how many times the operation times exceeds the prescribed time, a stage where a problem is possibly caused among stages of the specific devices which affect the cycle time is selected as a problem stage.
