PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simplify the processing of reproducing or deleting images obtained by continuous mode. SOLUTION: A counter N indicating the number of continuous mode shots is set to a counter M as an initial value (step 121). A liquid crystal display panel displays a preceding image to an image of a frame denoted by the counter N by (M-1) frames (step 122). Before the counter M reaches 1, a timer for an interval time in the continuous mode shot is set (step 124). A timer is started and the time count is started (step 125). When a reproduction stop switch keeps its off-state (step 126) and the timer expires (step 127), the counter M is decremented by one (step 128) and the processing restores to the step 122. Through the execution of a loop consisting of the steps 122-128, the image is displayed on the liquid crystal panel at the same interval time and the sequence as those of the continuous mode shot.
