PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a feeding device and method for hydrogen in which a smooth operation of a fuel cell is realized by supplying hydrogen stably and rapidly from a hydrogen container at the time of high-loading such as starting, accelerating and driving uphill or the like in a vehicle or the like mounted with the fuel cell. SOLUTION: This is the hydrogen feeder for the fuel cell and its method characterized that this is equipped with a reformer to generate hydrogen, and a hydrogen storage tank is a fuel cell equipped with (1) a storage tank having hydrogen storage alloy and (2) a discharge tank having hydrogen storage alloy which once stores hydrogen from the reformer in the storage tank and subsequently discharges the obtained hydrogen to let the hydrogen be stored, and the storage tank is composed of one hydrogen storage tank or plural hydrogen storage tanks installed separated from each other and also where the discharge tank is composed of plural hydrogen feed-tanks combined so as to abut mutually. |
