PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide terminal equipment for communication for moving object, such as a portable telephone set, with which the equipment can be easily and automatically opened/closed with one hand and another operation or work can be easily performed with the other hand. SOLUTION: Concerning the foldable terminal equipment for communication for moving object, with which bisected main bodies 1 of equipment are integrally constituted being linked by a hinge mechanism so as to freely turn, a sensor 2 for automatically opening/closing or automatically locking the main bodies 1 of equipment is provided on the outer surface of the main body of equipment.
