PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ingredient supplying device for an automatic beverage vending machine by which powdery ingredients can quantitatively be supplied without causing any splitting or splashing of the ingredients. SOLUTION: An ingredient chute 30 consists of a fixed chute 31 and a movable chute 35 provided with openings 33 and 37 respectively, the chute 35 is vertically moved to/from the chute 31, the respective openings 33 and 37 are shifted from each other at the lifted position of the chute 35 to close the chute 30, and powdery ingredients are retained within the chute 31 in this closed state. The respective chutes 33 and 37 meet with each other at the lowered position of the chute 35 to open the chute 30, and the powdery ingredients in the chute 31 can be conveyed toward the chute 35 side in this opened state. Further, a discharging outlet 36 is made to be slightly entered into the cup 1 at the lowered position of the chute 35.
