PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reinforcing structure for illumination of a steel ceiling capable of connecting a reinforcing plate reinforcing a ceiling member and a steel joist simply and performing construction work for reinforcement efficiently. SOLUTION: A reinforcing support member 6 is connected with steel joists 2A, 2B made of lip groove-shaped steel whose opening part 2c faces upward. The reinforcing plate 8 is overlapped and arranged on a rear surface of a gypsum board 4 to support an end part of the reinforcing plate 8 by the reinforcing support member 6, and the gypsum board 4 and the reinforcing plate 8 are integrated by a screw member 10. The reinforcing support member 6 is provided with a platelike fitting part 6a, a plate lower side receive part 6b, and a plate upper side receive part 6c. The fitting part 6a is formed at a plate width allowing fitting into the opening part 2c from above. The plate lower side receive part 6b is a member for receiving an end part of the reinforcing plate 8 from a lower face side. The plate upper side receive part 6c is a member which is positioned above by a plate thickness of the reinforcing plate 8 from an upper face of the plate lower side receive part 6b and comes into contact with an upper face of the reinforcing plate 8. |
