PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To always realize communication of a data communication device with respective image forming devices at customers. SOLUTION: When a man switch is turned off or a main power source is turned off because the mode is shifted to an energy saving mode, each image forming device turns on the main power source as it receives a selecting signal (communication request signal) transmitted from the data communication device, and turns off the man power source if a main power source turn-off condition is satisfied after it finished the communication with the data communication device. Then, each image forming device returns a signal showing that it is in the midst of initialization (or a signal showing that reception is impossible) in response to an inquiry signal from the data communication device to the data communication device until the initialization of its own machine is finished after the main power source is turned on. |
