PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a charge-pump circuit that can improve voltage conversion efficiency, while keeping high reliability. SOLUTION: A charge-pump circuit comprises a couple of switching transistors TR1, TR2, capacitor C1, output capacitor Cout, timing adjustment circuit 10, CMOS inverters 1, 2 having a source terminal S of an N-channel MOS transistor respectively connected with the source terminal S of the transistors TR1, TR2 and a buffer circuit B1. The timing adjustment circuit 10 generates clock signalsϕT1,ϕT2 for turning the other on, during the period when one is turned off among the transistors TR1, TR2. A capacitor clock signalϕC1, which is formed by delaying the control clock signalϕT1 for a prescribed time via the buffer circuit B1 is then inputted to the capacitor C1.
