PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent abnormal sound produced when a stroboscopic device drops into the water. SOLUTION: This stroboscopic device is constituted of a waterproof case consisting of an upper case member 30 and a lower case member 31, and a device main body 33. Holes for exposing a strobe light emitting part 8 and a charge display lamp 36 are formed on the front surface and the left side surface of the waterproof case. A hollow cylindrical part 31b projecting from the lower surface of the member 31 and a hole through which a lead wire is inserted are formed on the member 31. After assembling the main body 33, the member 31 is attached from a lower side so that a main capacitor 45 may be housed in the cylindrical part 31b. Then, the lower part of a printed circuit board 35 is filled with a gel type filler so as to stick the main body 33 to the member 31. Thereafter, the member 30 is attached and ultrasonically welded.
