PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a plane type display device which allows the regulation of a display to an arbitrary angle without moving the entire part of the display device regardless of the installation area of the display device, facilitates the access to a back by making the display movable forward and backward and is capable of minimizing the protrusion from a wall surface. SOLUTION: The display device 1 comprises the display 10, a pedestal section 11, a strut 12, a supporting arm 13 connected rotatably around the strut 12, a hinge part 14 rotatable around the supporting arm 13 and a guide rail 15. The hinge part 14 is provided with a sliding block 16 of a projecting shape in section movable along the guide rail 15 of a U shape in section fixed to the back of the display 10.
