<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a mode setting circuit which can switch the operation mode of an LSI without any circuit remodeling. SOLUTION: This circuit is equipped with a timing signal generating means 5 which generates a timing signal 12 according to indication signals 9 and 11 indicating the reception timing of mode setting information 13 from the LSI 1, a mode setting signal generating means 6 which receives the mode setting information 13 from the LSI 1 according to the timing signal 12 and generates and holds a mode setting signal 15 according to the mode setting information 13, and a backup power supply means 8 which always supplies the electric power to the timing signal generating means 5 and mode setting signal generating means 6.</p> |
