<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a two-component developer having a long life and responding to the developing system requiring high picture quality. SOLUTION: The two-component developer comprises at least a toner and a carrier, and the carrier is prepared by highly oxidizing the surface layer of iron powder but not coating with a resin. The carrier preferably shows <=180 emu/g saturation magnetization and <=45μm weight average particle size.</p> |
