PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable to improve an operability, and to caulk a terminal and a wire at a right position and at a right posture. SOLUTION: In a caulking part 60, a wire holder 10 consisted of chuck claws 21, 22 and a stopper positioning a wire W in the length direction are installed, and when some plural points along outer periphery of a terminal T are required to caulk, the holder 10 which has retained the wire W can be rotated around the circumference of the shaft of the wire W for the caulking part 60, and fixed by an index plunger 5 during the rotating. Because the wire W is positioned by a stopper 30, and can change a calking position of each circumferential direction as it is, the terminal T is located in a normal pressure-contacting position for the wire W, and is fixed surely on the holder 10 in this condition, and in order to pressure a contact with the right posture without inclining the terminal T, a pressure contact force surely reaches the terminal T and the wire W, and is pressure-contacted at a predetermined strength.
