PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the impairment of vibration resistance in reading of TEXT data with a disk reproducing device which reads the TEXT data by utilizing a so-called shockproof memory. SOLUTION: Speech information is stored with an A-Time when the reproduction of the speech information is started as a parameter T1 (step 203) and TEXT data is stored with the A-Time at the top of a TEXT group as a parameter T2 (step 205). When (T1-T2) exceeds 50 minutes (Y in the step 206), the read and storage of the TEXT data are first ended and the reproduction output operation of the speech information using an ordinary shockproof function is carried out (steps 207 to 211). When (T1-T2) is below 50 minutes, the read and storage of the TEXT data are started like heretofore and the read and storage of the TEXT data are carried out under the conditions under which the accumulation quantity of the shockproof memory is within a prescribed range (80 to 20%).
