PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a disc brake device to be simple in mounting of it on a pedestal. SOLUTION: An adapter 31 is mounted on a pedestal 22 and fit-in parts 32 are located at the opposite ends of the adapter 31. A holding rod 39 is attached at a flange 38 of a device body 34 and the holding rod 39 is inserted in the fit-in part 32 and the device body 34 is held movably in a direction extending orthogonally to the plate of a disc 21. After the device body 34 is positioned, a fastening screw 33 is fastened and the holding rod 39 is fixed at the fit-in part 32.
