摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an engine-driven type welding generator reduced in noise generation and improved in fuel consumption. SOLUTION: This revolution speed control device for an engine-driven type welding generator is provided with command elements VR, SW for forming command signals related to the revolution speed, an alternating current load detecting circuit DET1 for detecting alternating current output to form an alternating current load detection signal, a circuit DET2 for detecting welding output to form a signal indicating the size of welding load, and a control circuit for supplying an actuator AT with a control signal for regulating engine speed. The generator is operated at a first set revolution speed of medium speed or high speed during alternating current single output, operated at a second set revolution speed in a range of low speed or high speed during welding single output, and operated at a third set revolution speed corresponding to the added output of alternating current output and welding output during welding output including alternating current output.
