PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a roof material mainly used as a roofing material in the nailing and zigzag roofing execution of the roof of an independent general house and to provide its manufacturing method and an execution method for the roof material. SOLUTION: A pair of surface side edge stripe lug sections 2 are formed in parallel on the surface of a plate, a pair of latch holes 3 are provided between a pair of surface side edge stripe lug sections 2, and a back side center lug section 4 is provided nearly at the center section of the back face of the plate to form this roof material 1. Other two roof materials 1 are arranged to be partially overlapped on one roof material 1, then the back side center lug section 4 of the other roof material 2 is abutted between the surface side edge stripe lug sections 2 of one roof material 1.
